Would like to remove the Grey color from my 997 turbo wheels
Would like to remove the Grey color from my 997 turbo wheels
They look good as is on a silver or grey car!!
but on other color cars to me the grey trimming on the wheel's from most angles just makes the wheels look dirty (dull) if you will ,,of course IMO
does anybody else feel this way??
I would like to either have the wheels polished entirely ,, or maybe color code just the trim the same color of my car (Red) instead of the Grey??

DSUNNY - Do you want them to be all polished or maybe a single color? You could look into powdercoating them... I think the work to get the gray paint off of them would be a major PITA.

Hello Eric,
yes i do......... Guards red/ black
Thinking of replacing the Grey wheel trim with ( Red ) Just a little nervous though,
thinking it might look a little too flashy or cheap???
It might look great!!
The ones you have done were any red??
was it a big procedure?
Any info highly appreciated.....

Not good with Guards. Midnight is stunning, Lapis, Seal is too close to what's there now, Meteor dead on match, we did one with Black, one with Speed and a few Midnights. Cobalt is pretty bright too, it works best with darker colors like Midnight, Atlas, Black.
Yes, it's a ***** of a process to do these right. Once we have the wheels in hand, it's about 3 days just to get the prep done right, and because it's almost all handwork, you cannot go straight through, that means lots of breaks and major labor time.
But when it's done, it looks freaking awesome.
