OEM Bluetooth Addition - awesome...*Pics*

I HIGHLY recommend this mod for anyone that didn't get it with their Benz. While searching for my CLS550, this was the one thing I forgot. Install took 2 minutes...paid $408 for the unit at the dealer this morning (didn't have the patience to shop for it online) really good functionality, sound is crystal clear...automatic downloading of my contacts/address book, even my personal ringtone plays through the speakers when someone calls...badass!

OEM Motorola Bluetooth Unit

Snap the unit into the OEM Telephone module in the center console - remove protective cover

Pair device with cell w/security number

Booya - make some calls...

Looks great, but you must have the OEM phone option, if not this is useless.

I have the same unit in my GL but IMO the sound quality could be better. Compared to the Bluetooth system in my Lexus, the outgoing and incoming sound quality is not nearly as good. The phone book functionality is also very hit and miss. It works great with certain phones and not at all with others. My Razr V3 and Blackberry 8700c worked flawlessly, auto phonebook downloading, incoming/recent call display etc but my Razr V3i, Blackberry Pearl, and Cingular 8125 had no phonebook support at all. It's old school up in here, my mind is my phonebook! BUT, it looks like a SLR and I can't complain about that.
