Talking Michelin Tuner Day (Ruf Rt12, TechArt GT Street, MTM bimoto, Edo MC12)

From the latest EVO: Michelin arranged a tuner day at Clermont-Ferrand test track.

The MTM bimoto might not be so known, but it's basically a heavily rebuilt Audi TT with two(!) engines, one rear one front, producing 1000 bhp.
The verdict was it's very unstable at speed, but feels faster than the Veyron.

The Edo Competition Maserati MC12 Corsa was running on Pilot Sport 2s, most others on the more track-biaseed Pilot Sport Cups.
Apparently it is the only road legal MC12 in the world.

Other notes: The Rt12 gets just one line "This is a very impressive car".
Other tuners look a little crestfallen when the test driver can't suggest any way to improve to improve the package further.

Results Michelin Tuner Day:

40 - 250 kph // 25 - 155 mph

1) MTM bimoto - 14.85 sec
2) Edo Competition Maserati MC12 Corsa - 15.08 sec
3) Ruf Rt12 - 15.63 sec

Top speed (mph)

1) Edo Competition Maserati MC12 Corsa - 214.7
2) Ruf Rt12 - 210.7
3) TechArt GT Street - 199.3

Lap Time

1) Edo Competition Maserati MC12 Corsa - 65,0 sec
2) Ruf Rt12 - 69,8 sec
3) TechArt GT Street -70,3 sec

Anyone with a weblink or information to the other cars present? We sure would appreciate it.

The Bimoto is a bomb but really feels a bit "old" as well...Any scans would be great!

Hadn't even heard of this Bimoto thing. Reminds me of a couple years ago in the SCC Shootout with the Hyundai Tiberon with 2 engines front and back.... except way cooler.

Had a sit in it a few years back. Can't imagine how difficult it it for the quattro and the two engines to work together...

393 km/h is the current V Max...the thing about the Veyron could be true.
