Which component manufacturers aerodynamically test and which dont?
Which component manufacturers aerodynamically test and which dont?
I know Techart components have been aerodynamically tested but I am wondring who else tests the products like spoilers?
I am looking to buy a rear sppoiler and other components for my 997 TT but am concerned which items are actually aerodynamically tested. At high speed you could not only get lift from incorrectly built spoilers but imagine the disaster if a cheap item flew off.
Anyone know who else actually aerodynamically tests there items?

It prob be good to know who also has engineers on board does actual CFD modeling and optimization of their design prior to building their parts vs. having some ID just design parts that look cool.
I would assume RUF, Speedart, Teachart, and Gemballa do testing and actualy airflow optimizations, but I doubt alot of companies who do random GT2 wings and fiberglass fronts actually test or design their components. I guess you get what you pay for. TUV certification is valuable IMHO.

I know Werks Composites also tests...
