Wonderful, reliable car. I had all the TSB's done, emission lights occasionally, the fuel door never opens (always pop the trunk and pull it that way) and lastly my pistons that hold the trunk up became weak and needed replacement (covered under warranty). All minor for a car with 26k miles. Still get that feeling everytime I start her......

Had my06 V8v 9 months now. Done around 5k miles including sorties into Europe and never faulted me yet... Ok the emission warning has come on once :-)

​​​​​​This could be a bent dust shield if the car is so equipt. The brakes usually have a dust shield designed to keep dust off the wheels. If they get bent they rub on a rotor. Another area is wheel bearing is adjusted incorrectly. Hope this helps you or others that encounter this noise
