Your best bet is the quietest of the QS exhaust, called "QS Sport" The decibel rating is a bit higher than stock at all levels. BTW, the QS exhaust uses the existing stock tips, so the look of it is no different. That is your best bet...very high quality stuff.

I had decided not to do it, but got a real smokin' deal that I couldn't pass up. It'll be installed in Stamford, but I'll come down. A few weeks ago I took a drive with Martin in his nutty GT2, and was in your neighborhood. Some roads were still snow and ice covered, Martin is a bit insane, but it was fun.

I haven't gone out with Martin in a bit, but would love to hear yours once it's in. Martin has my cell or drop me a line at drjimm5@aol.com

WOW...got the QuickSilver exhaust installed today...woooohoooo.

Yeah, I know, a little more HP, 30 lbs lighter, more torque etc, but the sound

Louder, deeper, and most important, sounds great right away, no more waiting to hit 3,900 rpm. AND, still has the great DB9 sound.

*easy job, took the shop a bit over an hour, that's it...they said it fit great.

Glad to hear you like it. Maybe it's not for me b/c one of the things I like is being able to keep it quiet under 3500+ when I'm in "stealth" mode. Let me know when you're coming this way.

Will do. Its not obnoxiously loud, as its the "quietest" of the 3 exhausts available. Anyway, my black sedan is for my stealth mode

This is the one I put on:
http://www.quicksilverexhausts.com/p....asp?NewsID=34

and I copied this from a reply I got on another forum:
They offer three systems:
1_Sports
2_Super Sports
3_Super Sports Plus (5000 rpm is supposed to really open up - 104db + )

Funny b/c my black sedan is also "stealth". 6+ years of driving a red Turbo that gets as much attention as anything on the road has made me want to really hide now.

You might want to double check the DBS exhaust option. I had a customer who wanted to convert his DB9 exterior to DBS trim and the Aston Martin dealer said they wouldn't be able to sell any DBS parts without a DBS VIN and an accident/insurance report confirming the car was in an accident and needed replacement parts. They told me Aston Martin does this specifically to keep people from doing any kind of conversions.

My dealer gave me both the DBS and Quicksilver exhaust options. In the end, I went with the QS, but didn't do it through the dealer, and saved almost 60%.

Wow, they marked it up big time! Well I'm glad to hear you were able to land on an exhaust set up for your DB9. You'll have to post pics of the finished product.
