Update...

Received word that there is no paint kit from Aston Martin for the interior. I saw an official email from AM in the UK that read something like "...not something that can be sourced through Parts...". Others in this thread have mentioned that they were able to get a kit, though, so I'm still confused.

Anyway, I think I'm going to get the work done because I'll just feel better about the chips being completely gone at this point. The last quote I received was $275 from my guy in Orlando so I just need to set a date to drive down from Jacksonville.

$27 for labor to remove the handle and they subbed out the repair for $100.

I have some Meteorite Silver touchup paint for my car (for the exterior) that matches pretty darn well. I used that on a door handle chip I had from the seatbelt and you can't tell the difference.

So meteorite silver is a dark greyish I take it. Just trying to make sure that your interior door handle isn't a different color than mine.

Although I haven't done it yet I plan to remove the one door handle and give it to a local mobile airbrush tech. The ones that hang out on dealer lots fixing paint issues. He said it would be $25.00 to paint the piece. I have to pick the closest color off of Sikkens color map. Another autobody shop quoted $100.00 with a paint match with a camera.

Yup. To be extra careful, maybe just dab some on a piece of paper and hold it next to your handle for a quick visual confirmation before you go for it.

Orrrrr...replace them with the carbon fiber ones from the V12V. It would much tougher to chip those.

Ha, me too. I didn't know it before, but I have chips on both sides. What's that they say, ignorance is bliss?

Whatever you do now, do not look at your front bumper cover closely. Especialluy in bright sunlight or with a fluroscent light.

Too late. I recently had an object scratch and ding my Vantage hood so it is now at Daya's Custom Auto in Orlando. They are going to fix the hood but also touch up some rock chips on the hood, front bumper and fenders. I hope they do a good job. Can't be easy to blend Tungsten Silver paint.
