OEM wheel weights
Tahoe, did they ever weigh your OE wheels? It would be nice to have an actual measurement on the rears.
I'm still waiting for an answer on this. The main holdup is at HRE...they are taking forever to finish my wheels. It has been over 4 weeks now and supposedly it will be at least another week and a half till they are ready. I'm really annoyed with them right now. Anyway, I can't get a weight on the old wheels until I'm able to get the new ones on.
OK got the wheel weights, and there are a few surprises. I was told the stock front wheel/tire weighs 50.6 lbs and the rear weighs 56.2.
Tire Rack's website says the stock tires weigh 26 lbs front and 32 lbs rear, so that means the stock wheels weigh 24 lbs each...much less than expected and I'm not sure what to make of it. In fact, if that info is true, that means the front wheels are actually heavier than the rears despite being narrower by an inch. And they are cast wheels so I'm surprised they would be that light. Weird. I'll double check when I get them back.

Also, Stuart from RSC actually weighed the front wheels and found them to be 26 lbs even.
I guess you plan on leaving the tires on the wheels?
Yes you're right...the tires have two versions...one weighs 30 lbs and one weighs 32, but the OEM for the Vantage weighs 30. I didn't see the different fitments on there before. Still, that puts the front wheels at 24.6 lbs and the rears at 26.2, which is lighter than expected.
I will end up getting the tires off the wheels...when they put the new ones on they will have to take the old ones apart to get the TPMS sensors. At that point, I should be able to get confirmed weights on the wheels and tires.

Regardless, nothing is better than measuring yourself (assuming the scale is accurate of course).
Tahoe any news on those wheel weights. also since you did your research what is the widest 19" rims / tires that can be added without any mods and comfortably. I know I can go 245 / 285 with the current rims, but can I get wider rims in the 19" format?
Not yet...I'll have my wheels by early next week and then I can get some weights done.
See my other post, but I went with 19x9 and 19x11 wheels with 255/35 and 305/30 tires respectively. I know for sure that 19x11.5 with 315/30 will fit as Cargraphic has this as one wheel option for the Vantage, and I'm pretty sure HRE said 19x12 will fit with the right offset.

thanks tahoe, I'm not going to go the supercharged way, but I am going to do exhaust and chip, would you recommend getting a bigger size. I'm not trying to loose performance for looks
I have a chip and exhaust. You don't need larger wheels. But, HRE doe sell 19" P40's that are about a half inch wider than your wheels now and you can use your rubber if you want and replace the tires with wider treads when they wear out. I have thought about this option myself. I think I was quoted around $4800 for wheels alone in March.
