Funny radio behaviour....?

I've been driving my 2006 Vantage and when I have a radio station on, the sound unexpectedly and randomly becomes muted, and then back to normal after a few minutes. It doesn't seem to happen when I play a cd...or if it did, it is not as pronounced. My location doesn't seem to have any bearing, as it happens in places I know the radio signal is strong.
Has this happened to any of you?

(coincidentally, it happens to a lesser extent in my Land Rover too....and it's not my ears, honest)

It use to happen to me in my 07. After the dealer replacing each amp and it still happening, they finally realized it was the bluetooth box. Hope that helps.

Ha, that happened to me once when I first got my '07. I was hoping it was just a one-time event. I'd like to know more about the solution too, in case it ever happens again. Thanks.

The bluetooth module is most likely the cause. It thinks there is a call and cuts out the sound from the stereo. What's really absurd is Aston Martin told the dealer to replace the amp, that didn't work. Another dealer visit they replaced the sub amp, and that didn't fix it. Then to fix that an my oil leak they sent a field engineer. Right away he said it was the blue tooth module and that fixed the audio. But it sure didn't fix my belt problem or my screwy gas gauge.

Hope this helps.
