any way to remove check engine sign ???

any way to remove the check engine sign caused by the msg service emission system ur self with out going to the dealer ?

Press "READ" on the right side of the stereo and it would show the digital speedo.

Service Engine Sign

that will only remove the text i want to remove the check engine sign

Then you need to pick up one of those OBD code readers with the "erase" feature.

They go for about $300 in stores, and about $150 on ebay.

Plug it in, read the code. If it's "just" the O2 sensor, then you can go ahead and erase it. I'd fix it at some point though, either at the dealer or some garage.

My emissions light goes off at random every few months ... after about 3 starts it goes away. initially had it checked at dealer - nothing wrong w/ system. This is the only "fault" I have and can live with it (most likely my modded cat/exhaust/airbox throws a curve occasionaly and then ECU figures it out).

just woke up yesterday started the car and it just wasnt there any more it took more than 15 starts but its not there any more so i wont complain
