i have to believe there is another alternative, i did stop at an audio shop and they told me that they may be able to use some type of modulated system and blah blah. i opted to wait because their version involved drilling into my dash to which i replied "goodbye!"

somewhere someone can figure it out i am sure, i hope..........

 

Looks like it is really the only choice. There are some other options, but none as clean and direct.
