My mechanic had my car for three weeks. Have what sounds like an exhaust leak in the front/mid area. I thought it was a cracked exhaust manifold, he has ruled that out. Up on the rack, there is a slight rattle at the front of the cat. Its not throwing codes, and I don't notice any difference in performance.

What I don't want to do, is upgrade to RSC cats and it doesn't solve the problem. I know it would be nice to have them, but I'd rather do the ecu/SS upgrade with that money.

So, I'm looking for a used set. What would be even better is to borrow a set to trouble shoot! If mine are bad, I do want to upgrade to the RSC cats for sure. Anyone have them collecting dust in a corner of the garage? I have no idea what they're worth.

 

I am bringing my 07 to Vince next week to have RSC cats put on, if you want mine I will give them to you (no charge) I can have Vince hold them for you. They are working just fine.
