Q: Will leather conditioning alter the white stitching?

I had my car detailed(exterior) by the pro because I have seen result of some friends Do-it-yourself waxing job. Wax got on rubber parts, small cracks etc, and ended up turning white. My question is — if I condition the interior, will it effect or alter the color of the white stitching?

acabrera is infamous around these parts
I have used leather conditioner on two different cars with Obsidian Black interiors and white/silver stitching. I haven't had any issues with it. The best thing to do, though, is to try it in an inconspicuous area just to be sure.

Thanks, btw, LOVE your DBS! I was drooling on one when my wife bought her V8V two months ago. All those CF, I didn’t think I would like it because of all the scoop/cuts, and how big the car is. But when I saw it in person...

One of the more well known leather conditioners is Leatherique http://www.leatherique.com/. Often used by cars with uncoated leather- Rolls, Bently, Ferrari, Aston, etc.

I would give them a call and ask them.

BTW, the reason the wax gets on the trim is bad prep! You need to tape off the trim, chrome, etc with painter's tape.
