I have found 09 Vantage Coupe with every option and it is BMW Carbon Black and Bentley Saddle Interior. The dealer is 5 hour drive and I have not seen the colors before other than the photos provided. The Bentley Saddle appears to be somewhat darker than Sahara Sand which it my favorite color. The Carbon Black appears to be a very dark blue metallic, but I am not sure how it will look in person. My first choice would be tungsten/Sahara tan, my 2nd would be Black/Sahara or Sandstorm. Any opinions or experience with Carbon Black?

 

A friend had an e46 M3 in carbon black. It's exactly what you said, a very dark blue metallic. At night it will look black, but in the sun it will look blue. IMHO I prefer Tungsten and Black over carbon black.

 

I owned a E46 M3 in Carbon Black from 0-2 yrs. Black interior and Blk cloth top (Cab.). Color was unique and yes an extremely dark met. blue - not really "black". I liked it over black or lighter blue shades. It sounds like this contrasting Vantage color combo would work well IMHO ... unique too.

 

Carbon black is very dark blue metallic if you look from an angle but it is beautiful. The color combo you mentioned is very rare...I think I once saw an old Vanquish in that color combo...gorgeous. I would get it if the car checks out fine. Let us know and post some pics.

 

I was withing $1,000 on the price and planed to pick up the car this Friday. The dealer call and told me they just sold the car for thier asking price. I had convienced myself that this was the car, now I am crushed. I am kicking myself for not makeing the deal last night.
