I'm buying a used DB9 Volante and am wondering if there's a worthwhile difference between the 2007 and 2008 models. It seems to be about a $20,000 difference in price, yet they seem to look the same, even the mileage is the same on some. Are there any model upgrades that are worth having?

I read that the 2008 model has more power and some cosmetic stuff, but the manager at Galpin Aston in LA said that was the 2009 model.

Any help is greatly appreciated :-)

BTW, if anyone knows of a Meteorite Silver Volante for sale I'd love to know. Black works too, preferably with black interior and roof. I'm in LA, but will transport for the right car.

 

UKMarty. 2008's got improved stereo gear with i-pod hookup & Sirius radio (option). Improved bluetooth system where it's all controlled through the center stack instead of voice control (as on 2007 MY). 2008 also saw the addition of ballast on the rear brake calipers to help with the much written about brake squeal. Aston made a couple of improvements in the cabin. It might still be under warranty too...it's up to you whether that's worth $20,000. Cheers, John.
