CJ, I had the same problem with yellowing on the clear bra in front of the rear wheels. I had the whole front end of my car clear bra'd and had them re-do the yellow'd bits

It really shows the yellowing on white cars. My cousin had his 997 done, the whole front hood, I'll ask how it held up on his. The question is, is it worth the 1g?

I had mine done by and independant contractor with 3M material for about $750 (whole front end up to about 6-inches beyond the headlights, mirrors and door edges). I believe the 3-M is the best available and they warantee against yellowing for 5-years--I think. It is certainly worth it to keep your front-end chip-free.

Beautiful Vantage.

I don't think you can get much better than white/brown. So classy.

Would love to see it sometime.

P.S.....I think we have some mutual friends

YES, I did; it was $431.76 total, for the belt and pulley replaced. Fixed the problem right up. Hope that helps.

It was worth every last penny to hear the beautiful exhaust note... simply amazing.

Sleeply, I will look into a bit more, but so far im very happy with the car as is. I'll probably be focusing on keep it well maintained.

It already has the AM Powerpack and the Quicksilve exhaust. I am very interested in buying the V12V wheels, but its almost impossible to find, plus unlike the 996/7 Turbo's these standard 19s arent worth much because there isnt a lower model to put these on.

Steve, you will not find a 05 SportShift Vantage! The first year they made SS is 2007 but they did not make very many.

I'm in the market to buy a new car, never really looked into a used AM. If you don't mind, could you PM me the price range you found this one for.
