Updated front bumper retrofit + front park sensors ...

Has anybody tried this yet? If so how hard was it and what was the cost?

eelton is infamous around these parts
Adding front parking sensors was reported here, at a cost of $1000. The actual hardware is under $150.

Sorry, that first link didn't work. Just go to the AMOC website and search for "front parking sensors."

I have a bit of a unique perspective on this matter. I had an RSC front lip on my 4.3L which I think looked great. It does change the turning aspect of the car on inclines and I did scrape it a couple of times but it held extremely well and is now on another car. The Vantage Collection has a V12 lower lip that I think will not need as much fitting. I'm not sure about the parking sensors. I also like the Premier front bumper. I don't know anyone who has one but I think it looks great and probably is less trouble on inclines. I think the choice breaks down to price and how careful you can be going up and down hills. The other thing to keep in mind is color. Carbon looks better with some colors than others. In fact, the choice of Lightning Silver on the V12 had a lot to do with the "orgy of carbon fiber" as described by Top Gear that adorns the exterior.

Jaymoney-

Are the lips that are on the V12 interchangeable with the V8? What is required to make them fit?

I have the Vantage Collection V1 carbon fiber front lip on my V8V and think it adds a nice sleek look to it ... It sticks out about an additional 3 inches, so you just have to be a bit careful on bumps and dips, especially if you're car is lowered ...

No, the V12V has a totally different front bumper than the standard V8V and the lips are not interchangeable. The 2011 V8V has a slightly different lip than pre-2010's. It is a more aggressive carbon fiber piece instead of black plastic. I inquired with my dealer and the lip/splitter is $1,700!!! Czary for such a small piece!
