Wheel refinishing

Has anyone found a wheel repair shop that can repair a wheel that has minor curb rash on the outside edge of the wheel without refinishing the whole wheel? I have not been happy with wheel repairs in the past as it never matches to the original. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

typically it can cost anywhere from $75-200 per wheel. There a few ways of doing it. Either multi-stage paint process (primer/color/clear), enamel (color & clear), or powdercoat (which is the strongest by far). You can even clear powdercoat as well. It all depends on what you are going for and the costs involved.

Although I have never done it personally, I do know people who have done top quality jobs for under $200 per wheel and the coating was far superior than the OEM one that came with the wheels originally. It appears the key is finding a wheel paint color that has small enough metallic flake to mimic the OEM color.

I do agree, that the stock aston wheel coating is not very strong as mine is already starting to get very dull & faded an is not nearly as glossy as it was brand new.

I'm not much help on the subject, but I hope that at least points you in the right direction.
