Aston Noob. Just Purchased
"used" 2009 with 1500 miles. seems new to me, but it was a used car deal. Leased with purchase price of $97K, 24 months, 10K miles, a little cap cost reduction, $1200 a month.
Felt like a pretty good deal and I wan't even that much of an *** in negitiations. Very cordial. I mean, how could I pass up the $50K depreciation taken on just 1500 miles? Plus I have warranty for the full lease period!!

Also, I must say, in the last 10 years I have never gone to a dealer and signed a deal on the first meeting. But, the car is just too amazing in all respects, si I did it. Must have been a good salesman. Plus, it had just come into stock and I knew it would go relatively quick.

I'll be a buyer in about 6 months. What type of cap reduction did you have to put down? That monthly is amazing. I was planning on a purchase but I would consider a lease at those numbers.
The monthly is great, but I did put about $15K into the cap reduction. On the other hand, a used-car lease is somewhat rare. The dealer is the finance company, and to get a better money factor he wanted more money down, good faith was the innuendo. So it nets out to maybe $1800/month on a 24-month deal.
Dealer got to reduce his risk, I, on the other hand, needed to limit risk since this a new manufacturer for and I just could'nt quite understand/predict my risk with the car in a longer deal or a purchase.
So I got known cost, maintanance likely to be one oil chainge and maybe tires, and thats it. Perfect test-scenerio for me, car is new, and the diff between '09 and '11 seems trivial.

Car is being born tonight (delivered). And the whole thing will be fully documented and recorded. Pictures soon. Very exciting.
Speeking of red, any sign of fading? I will be parking some days in the Colorado sun.
I don't think mine has been left outside long enough for me to offer an opinion on color fading etc... I do know that paint tinting and the whole science is light years ahead of the old days like my 78 Firebird which started looking pink after sitting in the sun power of Guam! I would just keep a good quality wax on it and ENJOY!!!!
