007, I just wanted to take a moment to publicly thank you for all this research and money spending you're doing. You're right, all of us here benefit from your efforts and I just wanted say thanks for coming up with solutions, answers and options we can all learn from.

Noob question here...assuming that there is no equivalent Jag part and part # for this? I.e. larger production engine in circulation thus more options going that route? Kind of like the front brembos being the same size as the STI.

K&N is another option, but I really wanted to go with 100% oil-free filter so I will go with AFE pro dry. I put a set on the AMG and the car absolutely loved them. Definite improvement in performance without any of the drawbacks of oil based filters. Plus, to clean them all you have to do is vacuum them to get them 96% clean (or just wash with soap & water for 100% clean). No re-oiling necessary, just put them back in.
Thanks!! I never knew so much about air filters-so the K&N are oil based? I have heard they last forever and allow it to breath better, but am curious as to if they will require re-oiling
