amv8 - coupe vs convertible

ok, which ones are in higher demand? I believe the Vantage looks best in coupe form, but living in Florida it would be nice to drop the top every once in a while. I also hear that it is hard to find a vert with a 6 speed which is a must for me.

Roadsters are in greater demand. My first Vantage was a roadster and I miss it a little. It's awesome to hear the engine firing with the top down. The interior comfort is excellent and I think that the car looks great top up or top down. There are 6 speeds out there but the sports shift was fun after the RSC reprogramming. However, the newer the car the less likely you are to finding a manual. The 08 cars seem to have a lot more color options especially inside. The 09 and on have the 4.7L engine but I think that there were less cars made and most likely less 6speeds. You can't go wrong really because there are tuning options for the 4.3 that will bring you to 4.7 level performance.

Roadster vs. Coupe

They make far less roadsters and not many with a manual. When I saw the 4.7 with the sports pack and 6 speed manual, I jumped on it. Glad I did. They are almost impossible to find. I check every now and then and I rarely see one for sale.

Toughy, I like both the vert and the coupe. I had 335i hardtop and missed it much. On the other, I like the silhouette of the Vantage coupe more. You can’t go wrong with either it it is a manual.
