See article below. Can't wait to see what the new models will be like.

Haha, never say never, but I plan on holding on to my V12, especially if Aston transitions to fewer cylinders and turbocharging!

The article suggest they will tweak the DB9 before this platform is launched. I wonder if they'll try and spin it as a completely new model despite sharing the same underpinnings. It's been around so long, that if they put out a "new" model in the VH platform there wouldn't be a DB9 with this platform until 2020+.

I really feel the same way. I may own other AM's but I kind of think that this is a land mark car. It just can't appeal to a large audience and will remain a low numbers car by matter of course if not design. I'm not counting on selling it for a fortune someday, but I have to wonder if it's the last of its kind. There doesn't seem to be 6-speed manuals i development from anyone and even Ferraris are becoming more user friendly. This is definitely a drivers car and has a great mix of technology and old school muscle. I'm going to enjoy it for as long as I can and will possibly add another car rather than trade it. I keep going back to that Clarkson video.
