As a follow-up to my previous thread on the DBR1-2, I wanted to post some pics from the Road Atlanta Petit Le Mans, which was run yesterday. I'm happy to report that the DBR1-2 team finished in 3rd place overall, and was 1st in terms of petrol cars. After talking to guys on the team earlier in the week, I got the feeling that this was about as good as they could realistically hope for. Apparently, the way the rules work, the diesel cars have a distinct power advantage.

In addition to the DBR1-2 running in the LMP1 class, a GT2 Vantage ran in the GTE-AM class. Unfortunately, that team didn't do as well. The car sounded amazing though. Instead of the high-pitched whine of the DBR1-2, the Vantage had a true muscle car roar.
