Anyone driven a Vantage S?

I was pretty set on picking up a V12V. The only issue is that I need a car that my wife can drive on occasion and she doesn't drive a manual. Being that we will be using the car for longer trips there will be times when I need to take a break. I like the Virage, but if I'm doing a touring car I would want a DBS. Being that I am building another practice right now I would rather save some $$$ and wait on the GT car.

Has anyone driven the Vantage S? I know it won't have the same rush as the V12 will have, but the reviews I've read seem positive. Any insights would be appreciated.

The transmission is great in the V8VS, when compared to the SportShift in the Vantage. The sound it makes when you press the Sport button...wow.....it becomes something different....nice little fast car with sport off....wild beast when sport mode on. It is a little slower than the V12V. The drive of the V8VS is so much better than the V8V, It is more responsvie. IMOP

G-

The thread below is from a PH forum user. He has had one for a short while, and seems to love it. Very detailed overview:
