Rev limit when cold?

When I first start driving the Vantage S I tend to keep the revs under 3K until the engine gets to full temp. Does anyone know if there is a "safe range" to stay within while the car warms up?

I haven't read any official recommendation, but I try not to go above 4000. It's hard though sometimes bc the engine revs so quickly!

MichaelD is infamous around these parts
Low revs, low throttle until its warm, thats the right thing to do. I don't think it has to reach full temperature (which can take several miles on a cold day), but the more you can take care the better the engine will perform

I take it easy and keep it under about 3K until it's warm. Also, remember that with 10 quarts of oil, that oil takes a lot longer to get warm than the coolant does -- I wish the car had an oil temp gauge (oil pressure would be nice to see also).
