Car wash
Guys ...ONR is not a waterless wash it usses a bucket method, I use a gallon of water and a cap-full of the solution and the spray wax as I wipe dry with microfiber.
For those of you who are skeptic try it...I was the same way...the stuff is amazing, and then some! one gallon and I can do 2 cars spotlessly. It's the bet stuff I've ever used and it's safe for all finishes including waxes, sealants, and glazes. It's effective and efficient and heck it's fast! do a whole car in 20 mins...in your garage without subjecting the car to the elements. I can do this, followed by clay (if needed), then an A-I-O product like Klasse or Menzerna, then a nice sealent or wax and bravo...show finish...in a few hrs only!!

Do you wipe off the dust first with say a duster ?
Or do u simply just dip the first mixrofiber towel into the watered solution?
It seems the dust would scratch the surface.
Or do u run it by the carwash and rinse the dirt off first?

I wonder how ONR stacks up against my personal favorite, Chemical Guys.
I'm always willing to try something new if the result is equal or better end result with less effort and prep.

Just the other day I ran into a Bentley owner at work. We started chatting, and he mentioned that he has never done a traditional wash on any of his cars. Instead, he swears by the Spray-On Car Wash from Griot's Garage. I looked over his black Bentley and the thing is spotless and no signs of any swirl marks.
Here's a link to the Griot's Garage product. At the very least, it's definitely worth it to check out the 3 videos at the bottom of the page. They explain the technology behind waterless washes and demonstrate how they should be used.

While I would never run the AM through one of these, I do run my SUV through them all the time. It's usually just to make it presentable and is done as a "tweener"..... I have done this for many years and several different SUVs. Most of them I've driven to almost 100k miles and on every single one of them the paint was in fantastic shape. The other advantage is it keeps swirl marks to a minimum b/c when I do hand wash it, the SUV is pretty clean to start with. Also, you can cut down on swirl marks by drying the car with a leaf blower. Most of the tiny little scratches that create swirl marks are from drying the car after you wash it.
I only hand wash my Aston Martin with newer micro fiber cloths. I do a standard wash with meguiars car wash, hand dry, and then sometimes spray detail.
The M3 which is now at 130k, gets the do-it-yourself spray washes for time reasons. Actually I'm gonna go try out the new Mobil1 Car Wash that opened up near me about 2 weeks ago. Will report back.
Again, Aston only gets a proper home bath. I do not recommend using an auto wash unless you absoutely need a wash, but you're going to be doing more damage then good.

My order of car washing... from best to last minute immergency ...
(1) ONR two bucket 1 gallon wash in my climate controlled garage
(2) outside using car wash shampoo and conventional methods on a nice day or if the car is more dirty than ussual
(3) waterless car wash like GRIOTS and unconventional methods
(4) touchless car wash, there is one in my area that is excellent and nothing touches the car except for foam/suds and water, the nice part of this is that they get the undercarriage also.
Any of the above 4 can be followed by clay (if needed), AIO application Klasse/Beckers/Chemical Guys, then a sealent coat done 2 or 3 times a year Menzerna FMJ/Beckers/Poor boys, then lastly a wax coat if I feel upto it...Pinnacle Soveriegn or Beckers high shine liquid wax... this last step is more for depth of gloss where as the sealent is more for protection.
Voila...show level completion and a finish that has unparalleled shine and depth
