Fuel Additive

Just wondering if anyone has tried K100 MG fuel additive? It is supposed to free up oxygen in the fuel by breaking down water molecules (or something like that). Anyway, a friend brought it to my attention--he uses it and notices a difference in power output, gas mileage, etc. I want to know if it's safe, recommended, etc. Anyone have any first-hand experience using it with an Aston?

Nothing will 'break down' water in your tank (unless you run some electrodes in there but I'm thinking that wouldn't be such a great idea ) but, from what I've read about this, it looks like it contains additives with surfactant/lubricant type qualities so it likely disperses water so that you don't get it layering out in your tank (particularly if there is a significant ethanol component in the gas you use). It's probably of value to add some before you put your car away for the winter (if you do that is) and ya, might help keep the engine cleaner if you use it regularly. If the 'boost 2 octane' points they claim is true then you might see a bit more power as well.
