Back to the service department again...

So the Vantage S is going back to the service department again (this is the 5th time in 6 months) to address the issue of not being able to start the car. The first time it went in they needed to replace the transmission module as I got stranded. It has been back subsequent times for not turning over when inserting the key (I have other posts about this).

At what point do I ask them about the lemon law and do I need an attorney to file a claim? Would most dealers be willing to resolve it internally without involving the State?

Now... No need to bring in an attorney... Especially in NJ. PM me if you want a good Attny if you feel it's necessary. Sorry about your troubles.

I figured as much. I just emailed the sales manager at my dealer. We'll see how this unfolds.

If you look up lemon law on the NJ state web site you find a specific definition of when a car qualifies under the law. Then you'll know if you have the option.

It seems like it would qualify since it's been in multiple times for the same issue.

The AML regional rep contacted me this morning and wants to look at the car himself next thursday, as he will be at my dealer.

If necessary, be sure to mention this forum to the AML rep and that we are all watching and waiting for a positive outcome.
