Trunk not opening

Trunk not opening
I drove four hours home from the closest dealer from a fresh service and as soon as I get in the garage my trunk stops opening properly! Yesterday it would open sometimes and today nothing. Anybody have any ideas of how to fix it? It's not worth it to drive all the way back to Vancouver for this but it is a pain in the butt!

Common cause is the boot switch corrodes inside and you have to replace the switch in the boot..try opening from the remote, if the remote opens it, gain access to the switch in the boot and you will see corrosion coming out from the seams of the switch..then just replace the switch and you'll be good to go..

Irish, Somewhat related question. On mu 09 Vantage recently when I push the trunk switch from the cabin, the trunk "pops" but when I try to lift the trunk it does not release. In other words it did not fully release. If I use the remote or the button on the boot, when it is fully closed it works and opens properly. Seem strange the the cabin switch is obvioulsly closing the circuit but the trunk does not fully release but the boot switch and remote does?

Funny, just had my 20k service done and now my DB9 trunk opens on its own. I shut the trunk, get in the car, and once I put my seatbelt on the trunk pops open. After about 10 of these loops last weekend I gave up and just drove off. Once I got to circa 60 MPH it locked itself - absolutely bizarre!
I wonder if the tech adjusts the trunk latch/striker as part of the service? Seems funny that we both start to experience problems straight after the service.......
