i'm guessing you have a V8V? what about taking the cover out? there's a decent amount of room in the hatch area if you can put your bags on the shelf behind the seats. that's assuming the dog is small enough to fit on top of the shelf!

but why not just leave the dog at home? i've got a dog sitter that covers me when i go out of town, so this is a bit of a non-issue.

So it's v12 & the place is behind back seats

I have someone to watch the dog but it's a 3-4 weeks vacation ...

Doggone... I use my A-4 Avant when we take my dog Mr. Reilly on vacation. Yellow Lab. Loves to go for a ride... doesn't like the Vantage though (just as well).
