Transmission Shudder when cold

Over the past 6 weeks my Vantage has had a shudder/shake when the car is cold. Specifically, if I have not driven it for a few days, it starts fine, but when I take my foot off the gas and either let it creep or lightly hit the gas, the car shakes and shudders for the first few seconds and then it goes away as I go faster or switch gears. The shudder from first gear goes away after the car is warmed up, maybe after 2 minutes. But it is happening every time I start the car and its cold. Thoughts on what this might be?

I have not done that before. Start the car 8 times? Thanks for the info. How often should this be done.

Just start the car with your foot on the brake pedal and the heater fan off and in neautral, wait 10 seconds engage gear and drive.
Do this every day you drive it and you should'nt suffer the problems you describe i don't.
Cheers
