V8V sport muffler: same as the V8 S? Cost?

V8V sport muffler: same as the V8 S? Cost?
I have read in these pages that the sport muffler (?same as N420) may not be the same as the muffler on the V8 S. Do they sound the same or differently? I was quoted $3990 for the sport muffler installed on a new V8V? Any place to get it for less? Thanks.
