One of the photogs that was with us snapped an amazing shot in the tunnel on our way back into Baltimore. I'll post it up in a couple weeks. Kinda sorta in Japan at the moment lol.

I spent the past weekend in the Texas Hill Country. I normally take my Defender and play off-road. But, this time I decided to take the V12V and play on the sweeping high speed turns of the empty country roads in central Texas. I didn't stop for roadside pictures because I was enjoying the V12 ... but I did capture a couple of moments over the weekend:

Some days are better than others. Lost a few pounds, inches, cylinders, ponies and $, but gained a beast in my garage.

Visceral, and closest experience to riding a motorcycle. A good day indeed.

Say hello, wave goodbye.

Wheres my cheque book?

I love that you LOST cylinders and still ended up with a V12.

Just reading the text I knew you'd traded in either a Bentley, a Bugatti, or a '37 Caddy.

Oops. Just checked it does have 12 of them things. Just like the W12 Bentley. That's why the GO! pedal works so well.

Must have been a Freudian slip, I was looking at the GT and then made the mistake of driving this.

Oops. I was thinking the Bentley was a W16 but some googling tells me the W16 is reserved for the Bugatti.

So you didn't lose any cylinders, just moved them into a more pleasing shape.

You didn't lose any cylinders, you lost 1 V by going from a 2 V or a W to a 1 V engine. Or lost a W and gained a V....
