Just bought 2007 Silver/Phantom Gray V8V Coupe, 1 of your old cars

Hey Guys,

Without getting too much into the story I just wanted to say I bought a 2007 V8V coupe from a guy in Atlanta after my 2006 V8V coupe was totaled last month (was hit at a dead stop by a woman driving a DHL van who was texting and driving on the job, it sucked).

Anyway I was going through the records and found out he was a 6 speed online forum guy also.

Dave if you are out there I have your old car. Just thought I would share.

Congrats on the new acquisition. So sorry to hear about the loss of the '06. Texting and driving needs to be viewed in the same category as drunk driving. Hope you're ok.

Nice chance on an upgrade! Glad you survived. Did you have an opportunity to *****-slap that DHL driver?

At least DHL probably had insurance, something that can't be said for a lot of other drivers.

Congrats on the new car. Sucks to lose your old car like that.

Did you get a better optioned car at least?

Doing well...still going to PT for my neck (was hit at a dead stop and she was doing 35-mph). Nothing broken thank god, hopefully I'll bounce back a-ok because I'm only 31. Could have been much worse.

Anyway, no chance to slap the DHL driver, just hope that B*tch lost her job, can't belive how irresponsible she was being, especially with company property.

The 07 is better optioned, has the LED interior light kit, heated seats and the iPod integration kit (in addition to basically every other option you could get), also has the RSC chip and some RSC filters which I just did. Eyeballing an exhaust but that is a whole other story.

DHL is not a small company. hope you are seeking for damage compensation from them, which might allow you for a v12v in the sooner future.

Ha. We'll see how that pans out.

Been reading about the RSC cats...the car had them at one point but the owner removed them.....d'oah!!

Just having a tough time swallowing 4k plus for a couple of cats.

similar thing happened to a friend of mine and she's getting a 6-figure settlement in addition to replacement of her car. neck injuries are no joke, they'll come back to haunt you.

Hope you feel better soon. This sucks, but it's nice to know the car took good care of you.

Hope you feel better and have a full recovery. It's a shame what happened, but at least silver lining is that you got a replacement car you like a whole lot

$4K+ doesn't sound right to me at all....! Considerably less than that!
