Hello and thank you in advance..
I would let someone else depreciate the car and pick up an 09. If you want more power - you can mod it quite easily.
I picked up an 09 DBS and didn't even think about a 12 DBS - no appreciable difference for me - near same car. But I saved a bundle of $
.I purchased my '07 with one year still remaining on the warranty and it was an important factor in my purchase decision.
Any place i can find the specific differences from 09-12 ? can't find that side by side anywhere.
Warranty is BIG and is worth for me a few extra $$ to sleep well at night

- '11+ has the Vantage S as an option with the SportShift II as standard. The S has a lot of little upgrades such as; more HP, more torque, Sport button adds a lot more punch when stepping on the gas, bigger brakes, different interior stitch, SportShift II, carbon bits all over the exterior, side sills, diffuser, front splitter standard, different wheel option. (If you are considering a Vantage S let me know, I'm selling mine
). - '10+ have the optional side sills from the N400. I personally prefer them.
- '12.5 Stock Vantage was updated with a new front splitter and the side sills as standard.
Not sure.. Ordered thru amazon 3 days ago and its still hasn't shipped
Not much is different from what I know. Here's what I know off of the top of my head;

The items I listed are all I found in the comparison summary pages. I looked, but did not find, discussions on technical changes after 2009. It appears that the vantage, like the db9, reaches a sweet spot in 2009 with the mechanical updates that distinguish the 09s from the 08s.
To tempt you back to thinking about a Roadster, 6MT, my 2011 is available and it still has 27 months left on the original factory wrty.
Feel free to check out the link below if you're interested.
The lines are different than the coupe to be sure, but the interior is far less claustrophobic than my 997.2 Cab was because the headliner is a light bone/grey color (fit and finish on the top far exceeds my Porsche) and the pillars are covered in a similarly colored alcantara.
It's gorgeous inside and out, you'd be surprised how much of a difference these two small things makes in keeping the car from feeling like a cave when the top is up - considering you're in Malibu, that may not be often!
Good luck with your search.

My edition of Grants book did state that publication date constraints could result in late-announced updates for 2012 being omitted from the book.
At least you have that site to fill on the blanks for 2012. Tomorrow I can dig up the electronic addendum Grant sent out a few months ago, see if it has better info.
