Very nice car, congrats Will In the pic you took is that where it was first unloaded in a bay/garage? Nothing like laying eyes on a car for the very very first time

Thanks everyone!!! I enjoy the car very much so far. It's fun to go back to a manual transmission, it's definitely more engaging and more involved. I had a few scary moments going uphill after the red lights turn green, lol....not the best manual driver here.

The build quality is very nice and plush from the Scud. The ride is actually kind of sporty, I had expected it to be more comfortable. I really enjoy the B&O audio upgrade, it makes the freeway traffic time more tolerable, 1.5hrs trying to get to my parents yesterday afternoon! It's not the fastest car I've had but definitely the more torque and always ready torque car I've had! I am relearning how to drive and trying to modulate the gas peddle so I am not spinning my tires all the time, which is a different kind of fun!

And yes, their GPS technology is at least 5 years behind. The GPS kept on crashing and resetting itself which is not confidence building. Lol. I think it stopped doing it when I switched the language back from Chinese to English. And the interface needs major update, but who has time to use those thing with a manual gear box?

Enjoy the new year in good health, everyone! Going to have a day trip drive to SB for lunch!!!

Will

Eddie,

We didn't get to bed till 5am on NYE, sorry we missed the drive lol. The party got a little out of hand!

And thank you for the nice words. Its been a great friendship through the cars and years and seeing each other maturing in our careers and as individuals. Even our hubbies are hanging out now. Lol. We're looking forward to the Vegas trip coming up, although I am more scared of the Girls running loose in their natural habitat.

A alittle history behind Will and I - we both met owning BMW "M" cars years ago. He had a white M5 and I had a white M6. We went to car meets in Vegas and had a blast. He defected to a white 911 Turbo S and then a white Scud - influenced me to get a 430 Spider.
I got my DBS a couple months ago and now he picks up his beautiful white V12V. Great to return the favor. Through cars we have become great friends. Congrats again Wil! See you in Vegas again and bring the V12V to the Tour d'Orange.

I believe it's Stratus white - here is another pic of the gorgeous car

I bought it from San Diego European and they delivered the car to Marina del Rey. We actually unloaded the car in front of the Marriott because the side streets are too small for the truck.
