So how is it? I did a few of these conversions for a guy in columbus that seen it on here, he sent me the cable to the screen, was wondering how he liked it since I did not hear back from him. he sent the cable, I charged him $200 and sent it back, he ran the camera himself since there are a few options out there

Breezman,
May I ask who did and where was the install, as well as the approximate cost?

Thanks.

Thanks, Breezeman. Would you mind sharing the name of the local LA shop, as I'm located in LA and am considering having this done, as well. Thanks in advance.

You guys might be interested in this thread from Fchat. It's about wireless backup cameras. Personally, I'd go this route instead of linking the video to the Aston's nav screen because of the time delay in waiting for the screen to open. With the solution discussed in the following thread, you can have the video on your phone or iPad. I may do this on my scud.

Interesting, I cannot open it anymore either. The moderators must have deleted it or moved it to an off-limits area for some reason.

May I ask which shop did the backup camera install for you? I'm in LA as well. Thanks.

Does this mean you need to have your phone set up as a hot spot in order for the camera to be turned on via wifi?
