Breakfast + drive or drive + brunch would be ideal. Malibu works if it's early enough. I'd definitely want to drive in the canyons, not fuzzy about what food/when.

Have a fun time guys. I am out all weekends in April!

One day we should do a big meet at Cars and Coffee in Irvine. I did it last weekend but there were only 4 Astons (2 Vantage, DB5 and 1 Vanq.)

It would be fun it 5-6 of us got our Astons together and do a drive!

 

Anyone still up for the 13th? Time/location please? I'm not too familiar with Malibu.

Seems that this weekend might be no good for most people. How does the 19th or 20th look? Ideas would be Malibu, Angeles Crest, Glendora Mountain Road...

 

Angeles Crest or GMR would be closer for me than Malibu.

 

It might be fun to do the Cars and Coffee in Irvine on Saturday Morning. Would be neat to have 6-7 Astons in a row.

While I appreciate the offer, doing a bit more research I realized Irvine might be a tad far to be there so early (read somewhere you have to be there before 6:30 am?), specially if there's no drive afterwards...

I found that car shows don't really do it for me unless they're combined with a drive pre or post show.

Do I need to come down there an arrange a proper group drive with you guys? If anybody uses the excuse that Malibu is too far away you're missing out on some legendary drives and eateries...

When I come South I drive the canyons of Malibu, Ortega Highway and Palomar Mountain...but haven't done Angeles Crest since I was a teenager in my Mustang...love that road too...

I will be down there in the fall and will post a drive well before I come...and the date will be fixed, the route decided...and even if Nobody shows...I'll be doin' the drive...or drives!
