Sorry I was preoccupied. An old friend from Art Center was in town and I needed to give her some quality time. We had a good time talking about the cars at the C&C like a couple of young design students. In fact, we were so inspired, we drove up to Art Center to have a look at the student gallery and sneak into some of the studios.

For those who don't know, Art Center is just a couple of miles away from the La Canada C&C meet up spot. There is a very impressive gallery of current student work (new stuff every term). The gallery is open to the public during the day, every day. Go up there some time to be blown away by auto, product, packaging, graphics designs that look totally professional and real. Sadly, the car design work isn't as impressive as it once was. In the 80's Art Center could boast that something like 50% of the working car designers in the US had come through their department. These days it's much lower, as car design has become less and less interesting to young, talented people. //Ok ama matter plug done.

Jay, great pics! Interesting to see the Vantages next to the Merc. Vantage always feels big when I'm inside but from the outside it's really one of the smaller cars these days.

 

yep really is a perfect size.

btw im thinking of picking up an f430 soon (keeping the aston..love it too much)
