This past week I made the trip to see the Best of Britain show at the Simeone museum. It was my 2nd time being there.

The show is awesome! I've always wanted to see a DB5 in person. There is a really interesting fact about the red DB5 convertible they have there (I'll wait to mention it until you guys make your trip). Anyways, the rest of the exhibits they have set up are full of interesting facts. I spent close to 3 hours there reading every plaque that was set up. Enjoy it!

^^^ that's fantastic Joselph! Glad you enjoyed the Museum and the exhibit. The Best of Britain showcase is on for 3 weeks and it truly was a great collection of cars from the entire pre and post war range.

What's the story on the Red DB5 there, I know the one it's the convertible right next to the Silver and blue ones. there in the corner. What's the scoop on it, tell us it's okay...maybe that'll generate some more interest and stir some buzz, get some more folks to come on the trip!

Well the story behind the convertible DB5 was that some King or Prince owned it for a while (I want to say King of Jordan, but don't quote me on it). It’s one of 116 or so DB5 convertibles. The model that the Simeone museum has on show also came with the extremely rare factory removable hard top option. It’s a really cool car haha. I guess that story wasn't that good. But none the less, still an interesting tidbit. I wish they had the hard top there to see.

Also, I saw your car there Sunir. Gorgeous car.

Sunir, thanks for both organizing this and bringing the exhibit to our attention. I plan on meeting at the museum, and I'm driving a silver Cadillac CTS Wagon.

After reading the roster, I think I'll be taking as many pictures in the parking lot as in the museum!
