Built for a super-wealthy enthusiast and driven by Sutcliffe, the Aston Martin Rapide-based Bertone Jet 2+2 Shooting Brake is a strict one-off. But don't think its a hacked-about trailer queen - this perfectly-formed machine is so complete, Aston are considering a small production run.

 

I love it. Thinking about having Bertone turn my V12V into a shooting brake.

 

awesome car, but i can't imagine i'll ever be to the point that i could commission a multi-million dollar utility vehicle (or buy a production one for ~$200k). i've got a 4WD 4Runner i can beat like a redheaded stepchild without batting an eye, and Range Rovers can do anything a shooting brake can with plenty of luxury. so an AM shooting brake fills a pretty fine niche, i think.

 

I doubt Aston will actually produce it, even in small numbers. And if I were the guy who spent millions for this one-off, that's the way I'd want it!

 

Yes. I too love it... AM should build it alongside the Rapide and call it the Rapide SB.

 

Thats a real keeper! Fingers crossed for an AM production version. Now all we need is for someone to have Bertone make a Vantage Bread Wagon.
