Annual service

Hi, I had an 07 V8V and the service was $1200 for the annual. I just got a quote for the S and the service, in the last 4 years has doubled to $2400.
Seems like a big jump and made me want to ask you guys....how much do you pay at your dealership?

i have an '07. last year i paid $8xx, the year before was $14xx.
the cost of service can vary greatly depending on what needs to be done.

After looking at the owners manual (highest service was 4.25 hours) I called back to ask why the dealer service was 7 hours. This time they quoted me $1725. Right direction!

I think if i want diff fluids changed in would rise to just over $2k, as that was not incl in the annual ($1725).

$1725 still seems high. I pay between $800 - $1500/year based on when is done. Chicago Rates.

Why is there is a difference between the S and non-S? Different fluid amounts? Seems strange.

If there is any difference service wise between the S and regular models it would be small. I was just curious what others pay.
I just checked with another dealer, though an extra hour away, their annual is $1k

Did you replace diff fluid in the $1400 service?

CW8YUP is infamous around these parts
looking at your stable if your 2011 is what you are referring you, there is no need to replace your transaxle fluid yet. The Vantage transaxle fluid (and DB9 diff fluid) only needs to be changed at 4 years and then engine coolant at 5 years. Only the oil, oil filter, and brake fluid should be changed every year and engine and air filters only every 6,000 miles or when dirty.
