I was in Monterey this year (my 17th year). Thanks for the pics-brought back good memories.

 

Agree with you on the SP250. They are undervalued, perhaps still have an undeservedly poor reputation as regards handling (like my lowly Spitfire.) There's lots of classics like that. My Dad had a time-warp MGCGT for a while and all it took was a stiffer front anti-roll bar and some modern poly bushes and it handled great. None of this lead arrow nonsense.

From what I hear, the SP250 is a similar kettle of fish, if you know how to set them up they are not as skittish as people say. And if you have an early one, you can bolt the doors shut!

Pretty cars though.
