Is anyone else going to the event next weekend in Clayton, GA? I am bringing the V8V. I'll be calling you Monday Stuart - I have cleared out some projects and can get mine set up properly.

I was pretty seroiusly outgunned in my stock car since almost everything else was boosted - 125 was all she would do. It was the only AM there, and the only AM quite a few people said they have ever seen. Looked and sounded good...

Drag Racing a Vantage? That's like using Vice Grips to take off engine manifold bolts. Can you do it? Sure...but its not the best tool for the job and you are just going to mangle everything up. If you want to play the straight-line go-fast game, get one of these instead. Check off the 850HP option box and you'll be golden.

Don't know that I would call it a drag race. They close an airport, mark out 1/2 mile and you get to drive as fast as you want. Reaction time and launch mean nothing, they radar you at the end. There were Ferrari California's, and an F430, a few Lambo's, an A8 V10, two Ultima GTR's, three AMG55's (one was a wagon) and two pickups. Along with GT-R's and anything else you could think of.

When someone tells me they closed an airport and I can drive as fast as I want - I'm going. It goes to track days, it goes on date on night to the Taco joint, I let people sit in it and touch it.
