Aston Sport Exhaust Kit
Aston Sport Exhaust Kit
I finally got my car back after having the Aston Martin Sport Exhaust Kit installed and it sounds pretty great. This is the same exhaust that is installed on the N420 and V12V, but not the same as the V8VS.
The best way to describe the difference between the stock exhaust and the Sport is that the latter is about 1/2 an octave lower in sound and more "'growly". Interestingly, volume level is about the same. To use onomatopoeia, I would say the stock exhaust is more "brap" and the Sport exhaust is more "brohm", if that makes any sense. The sound is also more prominent in the cabin, even with the parcel shelf in place. However, even with my fuse 22 being out, cruising at highway speeds is quiet and never boomy.
My car is a 4.3, so bear in mind that this exhaust will sound different (and probably a bit more subdued) if it is installed on a 4.7.
