I checked out a 2013 v8 vantage as they are clearing out for the 2014. The rep told me they now have the stuff like new navigation and bluetooth and cruise and powerfolding side mirrors as standard feature, it is not an option anymore. She said she believes (not 100% sure) that the automatic headlights are also standard so you don't have to manually turn on the headlights like before.

I thought you always had to turn on the headlights.

 

Anyone know whats new or standard for 2014?
I'm not sure I am digging the diffuser in the back. Half the bumper is this carbon black look.

 

The automatic headlights and rainsensing wipers were made standard in the '13 MY (actually in the 12.25 MY update).

 

I read online that there is a backup camera for '13 that is standard.

Does anyone know what is new with 2014 models? Any new standards or changes?

I've been contemplating taking the plunge but read somewhere that a new generation vantage will be out 2015 or 2016. Not sure the validity of this.

 

Even if the new Vantage redesign comes out in 2015 - its will cost big $$$ and there wont be any deals out there for a year or more... So buy a 13 and enjoy it for 3 or 4 years...

I just purchased my 13 and its been great so far...

 

I also heard all 2014 models get sportshift2 as standard originally from the Vantage S models

A sport button Will now be standard in the 6 speed manual versions of the Vantage and Vantage S replacing the Pen.
There is a new Noise, vibration and Harshness pack which reduces NVH in the cabin.
A digital clock in the instrument panel.
Switchable information in the instrument panel.
The Sports exhaust will be an option for the Vantage.
There are some great deals on 2013's.

Lovingit - the rear bumper insert is black plastic other than on the S & V12 where it is CF (unless you buy the CF pack )
Backup camera was an option from MY13
Tim - the auto lights & wipers was MY13 not MY12.25
Coxy - My MY12.25 has a Sport button top left and I have the pen so something is a miss there, I didn't think the std V8 was getting the sport button, especially as the Sport pack is now an option on the S/SP10 (mine had it as std)

But as you and triplenet say great deals to be had as the MY changes

My '13 had the back up camera standard(I ordered the car). I have the base V8 and the sport button was standard and is programmable to make it default on all the time.

 

Nope - Sport button is top left, pen is bottom left
Hence I'm confused how the sport button becomes std and replaces the pen, on other models the pen gets replaced by the adaptive suspension switch

Interesting I'm trying to get mine to start up with sport on, currently it defaults back to off when it is stopped and cannot be programmed. (MY12.25)

 

Maybe i am confusing by the way that I am typing. The sport button has become a standard feature on the Manual transmission. It was always a feature on the Sportshift transmission. Nice interior.
