One thing I found interesting about that vid when I watched it is how many times Jay said how well Aston is doing ("better than ever" or equivalent). Guess he didn't see the story about their recent losses.

I am sure that was filmed the week after Pebble Beach, which would have been late August. You're right, doubtful he would have said that a month later.

Seeing and hearing the CC drive, I now like it much more than before. I still wish to see it without the silly yellow bits. I suspect the styling is prettier than it looks.

But wow, a true open cab racer in contemporary form. Awesome!

Could you imagine the sort of head injury you would sustain if you hit the longitudinal cross beam with the side of your skull? Ouch! LOL

Also, the open sides remind me of the Lotus 340R where the passenger's and driver's arms and legs would get soaked every time they drove over a puddle.

Would like to be the lucky owner of that machine. Will be one of those cars that is always welcome at Pebble Beach in the future. And Jay's right, Cali would be the perfect place for an open car like that. Too bad it is going overseas.

Wish I had the dosh to commission a one-off (or a two-off) like this one...

Instead of building prototypes they should be spending their money on transmission development. This marketing stuff is useless if they cannot produce cars with high quality drive trains.

Nice video and good to see the CC100 out in the wild, thanks for posting.
So the CC110 is a V12VS underneath then
Shame about all the Bez BS in there though, the more I see of that guy the less I like him

They didn't spend their money, get over it. It was paid for by a customer, just like the Zagato DB9 Volante and DBS coupe exhibited in London in July. AM has a long history or building one-offs for customers. It keeps people employed during tough times.

^^^Plus, underneath the body work, it's just a V12V. Not like they designed the car from scratch.

Yep I'd guess those 4 cars made a handsome profit, Just a shame a large portion will be wasted on ego's & PR
