I just purchase an 08 AMV8V and want to know what the best way to upgrade the power? ECU remapping and Exhaust and Cat bypass? they say it will give 40-50 extra hp? Anyone know for sure? Advice on who and what to use?

Aston martin prodrive power upgrade and high flow cats is what I have and the top is pretty much the same as a 4.7 but doesn't match the 4.7 torque. The AM upgrade doesn't affect warranty if any remains

Here are gains from eurocharged stage1 ECU tune alone, nothing else. Netted 31.4hp @ the wheels (40 crank HP). And at a tiny fraction of the cost as Astons expensive "power upgrade" (aka a black painted intake manifold and mild ECU tweak).

I would love to work with you on getting your car to where you want it to be. We have a power pack that we have dyno-ed at 12.9% increase in HP, should work out at nearly 50HP on your car. In stock and can ship immediately.

I have worked with a lot of people on this forum, so far everyone has been really pleased with the results!

Prodrive no longer offer that package
The best gains come from headers and cats

Darren,
Congratulations on the new Vantage! Not to divert your thread but I noticed you are in Tulsa. I'm also in Tulsa (south Tulsa) and just purchased a midnight blue 2009 V8V a few months ago from AM Orlando. I've been working too much lately to get mine out much...I've driven it maybe 50 miles since I bought it. Hope to see you out and about in your new ride. There's a guy who has a Rapide in south Tulsa as well...I saw it this morning on 101st around Riverside. Congratulations and good luck with the power upgrade options.

Thanks, I'm in South Tulsa as well, Riverside and 101st, and I have seen the Black Rapide as well. Congrats on your new purchase as well and I hope to get to drive mine alittle prior to the snow.
