Anyone know how the horizontal slats are held in place?? mine are all pretty loose and anyone could grab one and just pull It off. several of them are loose like that.

 

I have a brand new carbon edition grill sitting here. I'm not too good with pic posting, but if you want to pm me email addy, I'll send as many as you want. It sure looks like they are just friction fit into the vertical stanchions

 

The slats are just held in by pressure. If you pay attention to frontal photos of cars for sale you will see several with slats in disarray. They can easily be centered again by just physically moving them back.

 

surprised more of them are not missing "teeth". they sure move around easily? I put a dab of clear silicon on a few of them in the key places.

 

My V8 Vantage is missing the 3rd horizontal slat down in an 8 slat grill. Does anyone know where I can get one ? I don't want to buy the whole grill.
