I agree the V12V should appreciate down the road. Maybe the DBS manual convertible as well. Look at 430 manuals they are beginning to go up.
Overall it's too early to talk about appreciation on any of the Gaydon cars.

Don't take this the wrong way but what makes the DBS special enough to be a collectible? What differentiates from all other Aston's or cars of that time period? The market is still depreciating so indications there are it's not? The V12V on the other hand feels special to me and the market has been holding for a while with them.
Not favoring collectibility: number produced
V12V has only numbers in its favor (which is usually of prime importance, however)
